And yet, he keeps asking himself things like Should I change clothes for this? and What in the hell am I going to do if I can't find a ring for her? Pragmatism can only take him so far, it seems.
Soon enough, they're at Cassandra's door; Percy turns to Vex and gives her hand a squeeze before letting go. "I'll meet you upstairs as soon as we're finished here."
