"Agreed," Vex says, glad. It feels like she's just making herself at home in Percy's bed. He needs to continue to improve and she needs to settle in before any more planning about them can be done. She already has so much more than she could have dreamed.
Except she's of a similar mind, and she can't help but sigh aloud.
"A pity we can't just... elope. What a scandal that would be if we were found out."
Not that she has anything to be ashamed of, but she imagines marrying a de Rolo will be a rather public affair. Something to bring the people joy. It won't be just theirs.
